Louisiana Commissions Two Water Studies
From the Shreveport Times
A program to set priorities for state-funded reservoir projects and an analysis of groundwater concerns are the focus of separate yearlong studies commissioned by the State of Louisiana.
A reservoir study is to evaluate and prioritize state-funded projects for water supply, flood control, environmental enhancement, socioeconomic development and recreation.
A groundwater management analysis will analyze water use throughout the state and provide recommendations for five-year and 25-year plans.
